As an Apprentice in the Family Resource Team, you will assist in supporting children, parents and carers via family-time, direct work, delivering accredited programmes and facilitating Family Group Conferences. This role will enable you to experience all these elements and learn the skills required to implement them. You will be supported to develop a relationship-based manner of working with children, parents and carers as well as the principles of strengths-based work with families. There will also be the opportunity to learn about the wider Children and Families service and safeguarding. You must hold a Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle. You will also require an Enhanced DBS check. This post is based in a friendly team where you will receive excellent support and on-the-job-training.
