An opportunity has arisen in the Safeguarding Unit, which undertakes work to safeguard and protect children and adults at risk from harm. As an Assistant Safeguarding Manager, you will be required to:
Make a key contribution to the efficient and effective delivery of all operational tasks e.g. MARAC, MAPPA, Child Exploitation, Harmful Sexual Behaviours, Managing Professional Concerns, Adult Protection & chairing strategy meetings.
Assist the Safeguarding Manager in the leadership of the Team.
A qualified, experienced practitioner you will have experience of working with either adults or children at risk or both. Experience of working in an operational team is essential and supervising others in a work or practice teaching capacity is desirable. A balanced decision maker who has a comprehensive understanding of multi agency risk assessment and risk management.
