INTERNAL JOB – this vacancy is only available to Torfaen County Borough Council (TCBC) employees and agency workers currently engaged with TCBC.

This is a key post that will support the Data Protection and Information Governance Manager (DPO) and the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) to put in place systems and processes that will ensure the Council meets its lawful requirements as well as future requirements of Data Protection legislation including the Data Protection Act 2018/UK GDPR.

To undertake this post you will have a good knowledge and understanding of the practical application of the Data Protection Act 2018/UK GDPR, have a good standard of education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to delivering the information management and governance agenda.   

Information management and governance is critical to the effective operation of the Council and the way it manages, stores, shares, records and deletes the information it holds.
