The Blaenavon World Heritage Centre & Library, is the gateway attraction to the Blaenavon World Heritage Site, providing visitors with interpretation and visitor information on all the Site has to offer, as well as home to the library service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and front facing Officer responsible for greeting all visitors to the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre and Library Service. To provide visitors with a comprehensive introduction to the Centre and Library and an overview of the significance of the World Heritage Site. To provide customer and Library information services including dealing with Tourist Information enquiries and to assist in security, exhibitions and special events at the Centre. As the successful candidate you will have proven experience of working in customer services, ideally within a tourism and heritage environment. The post holder will work a zero hours contract providing cover as part of a small team. Duties will necessitate weekend working, bank holidays and other occasions from time to time as and when required.
