An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Community Learning team, as a Construction Tutor who can deliver across a range of trades including but not exclusively, Painting and Decorating, Tiling, Carpentry and Joinery & Plastering.Specialist subject knowledge required in Construction including Retrofit and Sustainability.Tutors will plan and teach quality accredited or non-accredited courses that meet the individual needs of the learners. Delivery may be face to face, blended or online.All Tutor’s will ensure that sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours. You will provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.Courses are held in community venues and adult learning centres throughout Torfaen. These courses can be delivered during the day, evening or sometimes on weekends. The length of a course varies from one day to 38 weeks.
