Are you an experienced Social Worker, who has been qualified for over 4 years. Do you have management experience of working in Children and Family Services or within a Fostering Service? Have you completed the Team Manager Development Programme or are you willing to work towards it within the next 3 years? With over two thirds of our Children Looked After in the care of foster carers, improving outcomes for Children Looked After must start with improving foster care. We are keen to welcome a second Team Manager into the Placement Team. The post is based at the Civic Centre, Pontypool and also involve spending time working from home. The successful applicant will be leading a well-established team of experienced Social Workers, Community Support Workers and other professionals, with an experienced management and senior management team. Welsh Language Skills are desirable for this post but not essential.
