Maendy Primary are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to deliver PPA across the school, delivering and supporting teaching and Learning. Maendy Primary is at the heart of the Community. The school has an ALN Resource Base, a BESD provision and a full time Nursery. The successful candidate will be joining Maendy Primary at a very exciting time as we have recently moved to our new school building. This new development has provided us with the opportunity to expand one-form to a two-form entry with our pupil numbers expected to increase accordingly. Candidates will be expected to:
Work under the guidance of teaching staff and/or members of the school leadership team.
Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for whole classes, individuals and groups;
Monitor pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils' achievement, progress and development.
A calm and approachable manner is essential along with sound communication skills.
Enjoy working with children and will show a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
